Parent and Educator Workshops

The eradication of bullying requires the collective participation and advocacy of all shareholders. Engaged, committed adults are needed to set the example and cultivate emotionally intelligent and responsible children who understand that bullying is an inside job with outside implications. The parent and educator connection needs to be strong to create and cultivate sustained positive impact in children. Our intimate parent and educator workshops provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of bullying and Restorative Practices. What is bullying? What factors make children more at risk for being bullied? How can you remediate bullying and bullying behavior?

Child Centered Age Appropriate Activities

The bullying epidemic is reaching frightening new heights. At It Could Be Your Kid, we are dedicated to eradicating bullying. We have all heard of children taking their own lives or being brutally injured or even killed at the hands of their aggressors. Bullying is 100% preventable. In the cases when it hasn't been prevented, data shows that with awareness and intervention, bullying is rarely a repeated offense. Our events are designed to bring awareness to bullying, bullying prevention and create a safe space for children to have fun.

Community Outreach

The community at large is effected by what happens in our homes and schools. Our community outreach initiative seeks to promote positive community relationships, bullying prevention and restorative practices. Critical mass is paramount in the fight against bullying. When one child is bullied, the entire community is impacted. With access to the right resources, people can become empowered to recognize bullying and take a stand against it.

Bullying Awareness and Prevention for Parents

Open Communication Narrows Opportunities for Trauma

Parents are their children's first teachers. Yet, we often fully relinquish the educational experience of our children to school systems once our children become school aged. Learn how to reconnect with your children in a well facilitated, judgement free zone. Open yourself up, in an intimate environment, to reflect on your child's needs and your capacity to connect authentically with them. Learn how to identify if your child is experiencing bullying. Is your child being bullied? Is your child bullying others? What can you do?

Bullying Awareness and Prevention for Students

Peer to peer support is invaluable

Invite ICBYK to educate children on bullying. This workshop will approach bullying in a multifaceted manner in which multiple learning styles will be implemented. We will define bullying, talk about our personal experiences and model what it looks like to positively intervene by being an upstander.
